In Store Event
Pamela Cooley, author of There's a Goldfinch at My Feeder, will be in our store to talk about her fun new children's book about backyard birds. Copies of her book will be available for sale and at your request Pamela will personally sign each copy.
Pamela is from the Burlington area and has written this charming children’s book all about the birds in our backyards.
Pamela uses rhymes to tell the delightful story of the birds that visit her backyard feeders. It is a bright start to the day when a goldfinch visits her feeder and throughout the day other birds visit, including a nuthatch, cardinals, woodpeckers and many other popular backyard birds.
Pamela set-up a backyard feeder after her children were born and fell in love with watching birds. Together they watched and learned about birds and she hopes her book will help other parents, grandparents and children get to know their backyard birds.
Eleanor Bailey provides the bright, cheery and accurate illustrations that will make learning the backyard birds fun for children.
