Bird seed varieties such as black oil sunflower, striped sunflower, safflower, nutrasaff, white millet, and peanuts are globally traded commodities. The seeds in our packages can originate from many countries, including Canada, Australia, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, and the United States, making the exact origin of the bird seed difficult to determine. In fact, Ukraine is the largest supplier of black oil sunflower seeds, and Australia supplies a significant amount of safflower. Top Crop, a Canadian company, employs people to source our bird seed and perform all the packaging.
